Exciting Announcement. . . I've Now Reached Another Coaching Milestone!

I am very excited to share with you that I have recently earned my second tier of credentials with the International Coach Federation (ICF). My new credential as a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) means that I have demonstrated a continued commitment to excellence in the coaching profession. To earn the PCC credentials, a coach has to complete 500 hours of coaching experience (450 paid). I am grateful to the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC) for preparing me through its rigorous training program five years ago to qualify to earn these credentials through the ICF. I am also grateful to the 100 + clients that put their trust in me and opened their hearts and minds to me. I love my clients and feel privileged to work with each and every one of them.

I love coaching. I love being a coach.

When I decided to quit my job at NDI in 2013, I was confident that I could build my own business and be my own boss. My inner-critic, or gremlin, popped its head a few times and told me that I can’t do it and that I don’t have what it takes to get it done. I am fortunate that I was able to tame my gremlin and persevere. I credit that to my Lebanese upbringing and Lebanese genes. ;) Living in alignment with my values and living authentically are core to who I am. My sense of identity was getting lost in a job that was no longer allowing me to live in integrity. It took a great deal of courage to leave a job with a prestigious organization in Washington D.C. and a steady paycheck, while still paying my student loans for graduate school. This was my second career pivot in my professional journey, and by all standards the thought of starting again would normally be a debilitating factor. However, I knew deep down in my heart that if I believed strongly in my dream and was committed to it, I can make it manifest. I had to overcome my fear of the unknown and of the lack of certainty, and stay focused on my goal. But, if it weren’t for the support of true friends, I would not have made it this far.

I want to especially thank those who believed in me early on in my journey when I was still trying to build my credibility as a coach. You know who you are. :) Thank you for your love, trust and support. I am so very grateful.

My next goal is to complete writing my book and to achieve the next tier of credentials as a Master Certified Coach (MCC). This will require the completion of 2500 + hours of coaching experience. This may take me some time, and for now, I am going to enjoy where I presently am in my journey and continue to seek to learn, expand my knowledge and grow my skill as a coach.  I am very excited about the start of the New Year, and look forward to all the lessons and growth that 2019 will bring. Happy New Year!

Much love and gratitude,

Joelle Jackson, PCC, ELI-MP Conscious Leadership Coach
